Abstract
Aim: The present paper deals with the pathology of celebrities' dual presence in cyber space and national media according to Islamic teachings to recognize the damages of this field and provide solutions through interview with experts.
Method: The data have been gathered from celebrities' posts in Instagram using qualitative content analysis and then some solutions have been provided through in-depth interview with the experts of media.
Findings: Having reviewed the doctrinal-insight and behavioral damages caused by celebrities through the lens of Islamic teachings, the paper provides some solutions to prevent such damages. Therefore, the findings show that such methods as dialog and sympathy with celebrities, identifying values-committed personalities, educating and training artists according to clear laws and policies, assigning a single responsible body for audio-visual media, adapting models of other countries in successful managing of celebrities, etc. should be used in managing celebrities.
Conclusion: It can be referred to some solutions to manage dual presence of celebrities, one of which is the absolute necessity of assigning a single responsible body for audio-visual media (television, cinema, home show network). Furthermore, a comprehensive research should be done on how to manage celebrities and a multilateral system should be designed through taking and adapting models with Iran's domestic culture, in which legal points have been included. It can help to better manage celebrities if bodies to train artists are established to provide the ground for competition among people.
