The Role of Mass Media (TV Emphasized) in Realizing the Culture of Sacrifice and Resistance (By Reference to the Statement of the Second Phase of Revolution and Martyr Suleimani's life)

Aim: The present paper seeks to answer two following questions. How can mass media promote the culture of sacrifice and resistance? What is the role of Martyr Suleimani's personality in making the culture of sacrifice and resistance in society?
Method: The method of interview has been used to extract intended categories to answer these questions, which are conceptually ordered through description and analysis.
Findings: The findings show that the medium of television can have an effective role by emphasizing on such concepts as elevating general faith, representing the axis of resistance, unity- orientation, reproducing the literature of sacrifice and resistance, sanctifying the culture of sacrifice and resistance, sympathizing and encouraging human affections, introducing national and native personalities as heroes, and using rich Iranian customs and culture in TV movies and programs.
Conclusion: The paper concludes that the use of capabilities of eminent contemporary personalities like Martyr Suleimani, and providing and promoting his school can be influential and effective in culture making for all people particularly those who have not experienced the Holy Defense period in the second phase of revolution. However, informing and awakening people is among the most influential and practical functions of media to promote culture making in society.
