Aim: The present paper seeks to find discourses in Commander Suleimani's will and introduce the dominating one.
Method: The paper uses van Dijk's model of discourse analysis method. The sample includes the whole text of Martyr Commander's will which is selected through targeted sampling.
Findings: Discourse-oriented structures existing in the phrases of Martyr Suleimani's last will show progressive ideology of Shia jurisprudence, that is, guardianship of jurisconsult. The most fundamental framework in the text of the will is strengthening the discourse of Islamic Revolution as the center of Islam's ideological developments and confrontations with its enemies in the twentieth century and increasing the legitimacy of Islamic Republic as the only political structure based on Shiite Islam in contemporary era.
Conclusion: It can be concluded that the most important and fundamental point and narration in the text of the will is the importance of preserving Islamic Republic as the associating factor of Islam. The authors refer to and explain the instances of the point, weaknesses, strengths, threats, and opportunities in order to emphasize that preserving Islam and Iran is contingent upon preserving Islamic Republic of Iran
